The Art Gallery
A man enters the gallery and nobody laughs
Finally, a place he can wear a beret
A group of artists stands shyly in the corner
Who will be the first to whisper sincerely?
Everyone in the gallery has a different haircut
Nobody even has the same beardcut
A student realizes that art can never be defined
It’s mysterious, like music or puberty
A painting drives a woman to tears
It’s a watercolour titled “A Study of Asses”
THE ARTIST’S MOTTO
I have no ability for stability, but I’m dependent on independence!
